Let’s start with an introduction. Name is Frank Lupu, pronounced (loo-poo). I am a Christian, a husband to an amazing woman, a father to numerous blessings, and a small business owner. By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, I have been saved. Not by any works of my own.
The intent of this blog is to share my successes along with my failures as a man, husband, and father in the hopes to encourage, equip, and edify others.
The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:11-16 “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”
We live in a broken world with a bent towards sin and have to take up our cross daily and work out our salvation with fear and trembling. God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit along with His Church to sanctify us, and to glorify Him. The goal of this site is to be less and less about politics and news overload, and to be more and more about growing in our faith and love as believers, as husbands called to love their wives as Christ loves the Church, and to train up our children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
My prayers for myself and for the reader alike is to learn and grow from our successes, but more from our failures and falling short, by the grace of God, for the Glory of God.
May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
